Since its inception in 2012,
SpOt Burgers has been serving up fantastic burgers and sandwiches from whatever location the cart happens to stop at that day (usually Drexel’s campus), but pretty soon, the rolling burger mobile be moving into a brick-and-mortar space on West Girard in Brewerytown.
The move has been under works for a long time, as Josh Kim, SpOt’s owner, saw more advantages for moving into a storefront than to staying on the road. He and a partner signed on to launch SpOt’s first, well, spot. He chose Brewerytown for the neighborhood feel (the space is local to a ton of other restaurants), and, alongside a much larger variety of burgers and sandwiches, the restaurant will be BYOB to start off.
SpOt’s
Facebook page says they need a little more time to open up, so keep checking that for an opening date and more details as they keep working towards their new venture.
