The best part of waking up...
In the city of brotherly love collaborations abound. The latest collaboration we’re most excited about is the
Yards Brewing Co.,
La Colombe Coffee Roasters, and
Shake Shack exclusive beer,
Coffee Stout. The limited, custom brew is now available while supplies last at all three Philly Shake Shack locations, La Colombe’s Fishtown cafe, and at Yards’ tasting room.
Coffee Stout is a robust dark ale brewed with roasted malt and infused with Haitian coffee beans from La Colombe. La Colombe sourced the beans from the village of Fatima where the roaster has been working to reinvigorate the Haitian coffee industry. With all three partners’ commitment to community and quality, this beer is as charitable as it is delicious.
As if you needed more encouragement to run out and find this fine stout, $2 from every pint sold will go directly to the
Mural Arts Program. Mural Arts pieces can be seen throughout the city, and these funds will help the organization continue to brighten our city’s public spaces.
“It’s a great feeling to use your craft for a good cause. Burgers, coffee, beer and art, all the finer things in life,” said Todd Carmichael, CEO and co-found of La Colombe, in a statement about the brew.
