East meets West in a collaborative effort between
Dock Street Brewery and Old City’s
Red Owl Tavern. Lead Bartender of Red Owl Tavern,
Kyle Darrow, and Head Brewer
Vince Desrosiers weren’t entirely sure what they wanted to brew together at first, but it became clear that a red IPA for Red Owl was the right answer.
The brew, aptly named Red Awl IPA, is described as a medium bodied red IPA with spicy, citrusy American hops balancing a nice caramel malt backbone. The IPA rings in at a manageable 6.4% ABV and is only available at Red Owl Tavern.
This isn’t the first restaurant collaboration for Dock Street. The brewery has partnered with the Four Seasons and Garces Trading Company. The Garces brew, Olde Dock Street Oyster Stout, can be found on tap at The Olde Bar and select other Garces Trading Company spots.
