The incredibly popular Center City ramen outpost, Cheu Noodle Bar, is set to open up a second location in Fishtown.

The big news here is that this Cheu location should be way bigger than the flagship, which is quite tiny — the location earmarked for Cheu Number 2 is the former Bike Stable at 1420 Frankford Avenue, and rumor has it that this space will include an outdoor patio.

We can also likely expect more dishes to come out of a larger kitchen, so hopefully, Cheu’s innovative, delicious menu will only expand. Drink Philly spoke to Cheu's owner, Shawn Darragh, and he confirmed that the space will have a liquor license, but that there are no other details available yet.

We should have more details soon, as word is that this spot is aiming to open by the end of the summer. We’ll update as we get more information.
