Parks on Tap Will Be a Traveling Pop-Up Beer Garden Across Philadelphia
Parks on Tap, Philly’s newest beer garden from Avram Hornik (FCM Hospitality) and the Fairmount Park Conservancy, will be mobile, traveling between 14 different parks throughout the summer and fall in 2016. The first garden will open on Wednesday, June 29.
Specific parks include Clark Park, Aviator Park (located in front of the Franklin Institute), Penn Treaty Park, Mt. Pleasant Mansion, Powers Park, Jefferson Square Park, and more. The first park of the season will be Schuykill River Park starting at the end of June, and the program will close out at Lemon Hill in early October. Each park will be open from 1 - 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and from 12 - 10 PM on Sundays, with some parks offering extended hours from 5 - 10 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
As if Philly didn’t have enough beer gardens or spots to drink outside, you can add another one to your list — and why not spend your summer trying to make it to each park pop-up?
