Don't Miss Philly4Pulse, Philadelphia's Massive Citywide Benefit for Orlando, July 21

On Thursday, July 21, bars all over the Gayborhood/Washington Square West will come together in support of those affected by the June 12 shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando. Each venue will be hosting their own related theme night, party, or activity in an effort to raise money to donate to the victims and their families. Guest bartenders will be in attendance, including senators, councilmen and women, professional athletes, and bartenders from Pulse.

A $10 donation gets you a VIP pass to all the parties in the Gayborhood. Here’s a taste of what this massive party is going to have in store:

The massive nightclub known for its rooftop tiki bar and multiple levels recently announced they’ve already raised $10,000 for the victims and staff of Pulse. On Thursday, they will be hosting a one-night-only 18 to enter dance party and drag show with RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Roxxxy Andrews and more.

Tabu
Femme De La Creme burlesque show + Connor Barwin, 7 PM
First, Philadelphia Eagles player Connor Barwin will guest bartend downstairs from 7 PM- 8 PM. Then, an evening of femme-identifying performers will take the stage upstairs with Jezebelle Von Jane, Honeytree Evil Eye, Ginger Leigh, and more. There will also be a raffle, including the chance to be selected from the audience to be sent on a “date” to a local restaurant.

The Bike Stop
Leather party, 9 PM
What else would you expect from Philly’s leather bar? Enjoy guest appearances from Mr. Philadelphia Leather 2015, Jason Hall, as well as current Mr. Philadelphia Leather Rudy Flesher. All jello shot and keg beer sales will go straight to Equality Florida.

Tavern On Camac
Showtune Night
Tavern on Camac will host a classic night of showtunes, both with performers and opportunities for you to belt out a few songs yourself.

Voyeur
Big Gay Official Drag Show,10 PM
Hosted by local drag personalities Bev and Vinchelle, this enormous drag show features over 10 of Philly’s most beloved drag queens all on one stage. Suggested donation is $10, and all tips and drink sales from the evening will go directly to the Philly4Pulse fund.

Woody’s
Latin Connection Dance Party, 7 PM - 9 PM
Celebrating the Hispanic and Latino LBGTQ communities in Orlando, Woody’s will throw a massive Latin dance party dedicated to Pulse.

Valanni
ArtPop4Pulse, 7 PM
An entire evening of programming will be dedicated to Philly4Pulse, including a fashion show, raffle & silent auction, guest bartenders like Mayor Kenney, and more. Kinky Quizzo kicks off at 9 PM. Stop in early for dinner — 25% of food sales are going straight to those impacted by the Pulse shooting.

Drag Show headlined by Miss Lisa, 11 PM
Although not technically, in the Gayborhood, the home of the Citywide special is joining in with a special drag show and benefit starting at 11 p.m.

Boxers
Texas Hold ‘Em and a bachelor auction, 8 PM
Head upstairs for a special edition of Butch Cordora’s regular Texas Hold ‘Em tournament. Cards not your style? Downstairs Boxers will host a bachelor auction.

The Wilma Theater
Queer Riot, 5 PM - 7 PM
Get loud and be proud as you scream, sing, and dance with queer area artists and activists. Make buttons, decorate beach balls, and make a banner for Orlando at one of the craft tables. There will also be a table to write letter to politicians to ask for gun reform. We’ve also been promised plenty of glitter.

William Way LGBT Community Center
Dance for Orlando Community and Youth Event, 7 PM - 11 PM
If you want to avoid the boozy bar scene but still want to dance the night away, head over to William Way for a sober dance party. The event will feature a raffle and giveaways, food, and live DJs.

Charlie was a sinner.
Guest bartenders, 7 PM - 10 PM
Fancy a craft cocktail? Charlie was a sinner. will feature guest bartenders Allan Domb and Deputy Mayor of Labor Rich Lazer.

Infusion Lounge
Happy hour benefit, 5 PM - 7 PM
Can’t make it to the Gayborhood but still want to participate in Philly4Pulse? Swing by Infusion Lounge in Old City for happy hour and have $1 of each drink go straight to victims and their families. Specials include $3 beers, $4 glasses of wine, and $5 cocktails.

Knock
Karaoke and silent auction, 9 PM
Join Knock for an evening of belting out your favorite tunes while you hang with their guest bartenders and show Orlando some love.

Franky Bradley’s
Franky’s Foxes Drag Show, doors at 7 PM & show at 9:30 PM
Franky Bradley’s resident drag show will put on a special performance in the name of Pulse.
