Old City District is hosting a huge free outdoor festival on
Sunday, October 9.
Old City Fest will feature food and drink from 30 of the best bars and restaurants in the Old City, many of which are new to this year’s festival.
Some of the participating restaurant concessions include:
2nd Story Brewing Co: Pulled pork sliders & beer
Amada: Sangria & pan con tomate
Buddakan: Dumplings, beer & cocktails
Continental: Cheesesteak eggrolls, beer & cocktails
Cuba Libre: Rum punch served in hollowed coconuts & the Choripan (sausage sandwich)
Franklin Fountain: Seasonal sundaes & ice cream
High Street on Market: Pastrami on rye
Keating’s Rope & Anchor Bar: Apple bourbon pulled pork & bang bang shrimp
Khyber Pass Pub: TBD
La Famiglia: Tomato mozzarella sandwich & gnocchi sorrentina
The Little Lion: Chicken thigh sliders, ribs & fried green tomatoes
Lucha Cartel: Corn salad & carne asada tacos
The Olde Bar: New England clam chowder
Panorama: Roast pork with broccoli rabe sandwiches, truffle fries, beer & red wine
Positano Coast: Fish skewers & Sausage and pepper sandwiches
Roe: Soba noodle salad, chicken satay, beef bao & Thai iced tea
Sassafras: Pulled pork & sausage sandwiches, sailor’s punch, rum apple cider & Dogfish Head beer
Wister BYOB: TBD
Additionally, there will be tons of entertainment including live music, runway fashion shows, and street performances. Guests can also stroll along the streets and shop from a wide variety of art, craft and retailers.
The event will take place on north 3rd Street (from Market to Race) and Arch Street (from 2nd to 4th) from 11 AM–6 PM. The festival is free to enter and vendors are pay as you go.
The Veterans Multi-Service Center, which is located in Old City, will also be holding a clothing drive to collect gently used coats and other winter items. If you have anything to donate you can drop it off at their booth.
