Visit BRU, U-Bahn and Cinder for Rare Beers, Stouts, Sours, and Ciders, January 29
One of the most awesome days of the year for Philly craft beer lovers is finally here again. If you like sour beers, get ready for a tap list that is going to blow your mind. Scratch that - if you like any beer or cider, this insane, multi-bar, 92 keg tap list will still blow your mind.
The folks behind Craft Concepts, the group behind BRU Craft & Wurst, U-Bahn, and Cinder, has spent the last year stockpiling some of the best craft beers from far and wide. On Sunday, January 29, Bru will tap all 32 kegs of awesome, rare beer for Sour Bowl III. U-Bahn, BRU's sister bar that is located downstairs/nextdoor is also getting in on the action again with their Imperial Stout tap takeover Stout Bowl II. Along with the stouts, they'll also tap a firkin of the delicious Tröegs Nugget Nectar.
New this year to the action is Cider Bowl I, at no other than Craft Concept’s newest bar Cinder. They’ll feature a full 32 tap takeover of craft ciders, sour beers, strong ales and IPAs. The tap list will have 12 draft ciders in total many of which will be PA local.
BRU will begin the tapping at 11 AM, Cinder at 2 PM and U-Bahn at 4 PM. BRU will also be offering a special treat at 6 PM with a bonus Sour Bowl Overtime tapping of 10 lauded Russian River brews.
All beers are on a first come, first served basis. Pours will be limited to one per draft per person at a time, in an effort to allow everyone a chance at everything they would like to try.
