The Rittenhouse Hotel is Hosting Its Second Annual Cellar Tasting, March 5

On Sunday, March 5 from 2 PM - 5 PM, the Rittenhouse Hotel is opening its wine cellar to the public for the second time, kicking off a month-long wine celebration. This event will also kick off a series that the Rittenhouse will offer during Philly Wine Week, which includes tasting menus at Lacroix and Bar 210.

The tasting will offer over 60 different wines from various wine hotspots across the world and will be headed by new sommelier and beverage director Hai Tran along with a panel of distinguished guests, including Mariel Vega (Skurnik Wine & Spirits), Jason Malumed (MFW) and Jim Nolan (Vine Street Imports, which is located in South Jersey). Wines offered will include varieties from Austria, New Zealand, South Africa, wineries all over Europe, and more.

"For this year's annual cellar tasting, we have invited our top vendors to participate in pouring some of the gems from The Rittenhouse cellar - each of the vendors bring a different facet to the story of wine,” said Tran. “It is an honor to be hosting this second cellar tasting as my first event with The Rittenhouse. I look forward to presenting wine novices and experts alike with the rare opportunity to taste an array of exciting and unique wines.”

General admission tickets are $80 a head, but this year, you can also purchase a VIP ticket for $160, which gets you early admission, light bites, a dedicated lounge throughout the event, and two VIP exclusive tables from Möet Hennessy and the Spire Collection.

Get your tickets today for this unique event that doesn’t just provide you with delicious wines from across the world, but encourages you to learn as much as you can about them too.
