Dunkel Dare with Marc Summers Returns to Frankford Hall, June 21 & 22
We just got word that what is possibly the best — and is definitely the messiest — Philly beer event is coming back once again. Marc Summers will return to Frankford Hall to host Dunkel Dare, pitting brewers against one another in a frenzy of absurd food-and-drink-related obstacle courses.
The original Double Dare host will lead the crowd in cheering on contestants as they play games like "Pie in the Pants" and "High-Five" and tackle the "Slopstacle Course" on both Wednesday, June 21 (for rounds 1 and 2) and Thursday, June 22 (for the championship round). Both nights will run from 7 PM - 11 PM.
Each team will consist of brewery employees alongside local celebrities, and the last teammate will be pulled from the audience during the event! Guests are welcome for both nights — beer will be pay as you go, and there will be a $10 cover charge at the door until Frankford Hall is at capacity. Aside from the contest, entry is first-come, first-serve — so get there early!
