As the birthplace of America, Philadelphia's the perfect place to celebrate Independence Day, so head to any of these bars or special events throughout the long weekend to do your patriotic duty. 

Drink Philly Independence Day Boat Party
Thursday, July 29, 7-10 PM
The Spirit of Philadelphia
Undoubtedly the best way to kick off the weekend’s festivities — join Drink Philly for a booze cruise on the Delaware! $52 will get you a three-hour open bar, a dinner buffet, live music, and tons of fun.

Caddyshack Classic
Thursday, June 29, 11PM-2AM
Delaware River Waterfront
A $10 ticket ($12 at the door) gets you a free round of mini golf, entry to a screening of Caddyshack, a complimentary Yards beer, and drink specials all night long. They'll also have a Caddyshack costume contest!

Stoli Red, White & Blue Happy Hours
Friday, July 30, 4-7PM
Multiple locations
Stoli is sponsoring a Red, White & Blue happy hours throughout Philadelphia to kick off Independence Day Weekend right, so check the list of participating restaurants for great drink specials.

Sugarhouse Casino
Head to the waterfront for an evening of craft brews, live music from Mo Lowda & The Humble, and a fireworks display after the festival at 9:30.

Party on the Parkway

The parkway will shut down on the 4th and open up to heaps of food trucks, drink vendors, and family friendly entertainment. 

Wawa Welcome to America Concert and Fireworks
Tuesday, July 4, 7PM
Benjamin Franklin Parkway
Experience an evening of musical performances headlined by Mary J. Blige alongside acts like the Philly POPS, Mandy Gonzalez, and more, along with a ceremony honoring Boyz II Men. Fireworks kick off over the Art Museum as soon as the closing act sings the last tune.

Catch an amazing view of the Independence Day Fireworks from 51 stories high. For $76, you’ll get a three and a half hour open bar featuring craft beers, house wine, and premium liquors, a two hour BBQ buffet, and a priceless views of the festivities. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
