One of the summer’s favorite beverages, rosé, is being lauded this week at Chef Marcie Turney and Valarie Safran’s 13th Street restaurants beginning Monday, July 17 with events and specials running through Friday, July 21

Rosé Wine Takeover
All week, the Mediterranean-Italian restaurant will feature 26 rosés from five countries made with over 42 grape varieties. Prices vary. (110 S 13th St.)
 
Frosé All Day
Get the ultra-hip rosé slushy all week at this soul food spot during lunch, dinner and weekend brunch services. (1234 Locust St.)
 
Happy Hour
Sip on rosé sangria for $6 during happy hour, which runs Sunday through Friday 5-6:30 PM. Happy hour takes place at the bar and outdoor tables only. (106 S 13th St.)
 
Pairing Dinners
 
Monday, July 17
Book your table for this fresh, summery three-course rosé dinner. The first course is a summer bean salad with grilled roma and yellow wax beans, pickled zucchini, whipped feta, baby sweet peppers, basil and grilled bread paired with a 2016 Domaine Chevrot Pinot Noir. The second course is a corn and sheep’s milk ricotta ravioli with guanciale, tomato and arugula paired with a Chateau Soucherie Cabernet Franc. Third course is a seared skirt steak with heirloom tomatoes, grilled market onions and almond-hazelnut romesco paired with a 2016 Chateau Valcombe Grenache/Syrah. $48, reservations recommended.  (110 S 13th St.)
 
Tuesday, July 18
Savor a three-course prix fixe dinner at Little Nonna’s, Midtown Village’s down-home Italian mainstay. The first course is Nonni’s antipasto salad with roasted peppers and white beans, marinated fresh mozzarella, tomato-cucumber and corn salad, grilled zucchini, salami Napoli and Italian market olives paired with Lucchetti Lacrima di Morro d’Alba sparkling rosé. Second course is a fritto mist with cod, calamari, zucchini, pole beans and olive brine aioli paired with a 2016 Bisson Ciliegiolo. The last course is clams and linguine with guests’ choice of red or white sauce served with garlic bread for the table. The last course is paired with a Fattoria Di Basciano Sangiovese. $48, reservations recommended. (1234 Locust St.)
 
Wednesday, July 19
Jamonera
Enjoy the last rosé pairing of the week at this 13th Street Spanish spot. The first course is pan con tomate with Spanish olive oil and sea salt and Lancaster Farmers’ salad with Juve y Cape Trepat/Pinot rosé cava. Second course is grilled calamari with white bean puree, charred pole beans and pickled chorizo vinaigrette paired with a 2016 Joao Ramos Espadeiro rosé vine verde. The last course is seared scallops with smashed zucchini-almond picada, blistered tomato-corn salad and herbs and a summer vegetable crispy rice with Manchego cheese and warm gazpacho dressing. The wine pairing is a 2016 Vinatigo Listan Negro. (105 S 13th St.)
