Oskar Blues Brewery is Making Canned Cocktails

Oskar Blues Brewery in Lyons, Colorado (not France) has released the first canned mixed drink in its new line of canned drinks called Spirits by Oskar Blues, or S.O.B. This first highball is a take on the Moscow Mule, appropriately titled mOSKow Mule, and is made with the brewery’s own ginger beer, as well as a “handmade vodka”.
Colorado Spring Independent reports that while the boozy beverage tastes a bit “muted”, it also stands “a step or three in quality above most pre-mixed drinks”. S.O.B. officially launches in 2018, but the mOSKow Mule is currently available at stores in Colorado. Whatever the case, this is clearly the beginning of a popular trend of bottled and canned cocktails that we’ll likely be seeing more of in the future.
