The Reading Terminal Market is Accepting Applications for New Winery & Distillery Kiosks
Continuing a recent (and excellent) trend, the Reading Terminal Market is the latest shopping and eating establishment to get a bit boozier.
Reading Terminal is seeking six distilleries and one winery to open kiosks at the market. Proposals are for limited distilleries and wineries only. Limited distillers can only produce up to 100,000 gallons per year, and for wineries, they're allotted double. Some of the other qualifications include a social media presence, ability to staff the booth 9 AM-6 PM seven days a week, and a diverse portfolio of products.
Currently, patrons of RTM are permitted to buy booze at Molly Malloy’s and Blue Mountain Winery. After Act 39 was passed last year, Boardroom Spirits and Eight Oaks distilleries also began to sell their products at the market.
The kiosks will be 50 square feet and will be located in the northeast corner of the market, with proposals due November 10.
