Tis the Postseason at Percy St BBQ

Attention all Phillies fans! Wait... add to that: Attention all Dock Street, Yards, Victory, Sly Fox and Flying Fish beer fans!

Texas-style BBQ joint Percy Street has come to bat with a doozy of a deal to celebrate the Fightin’ Phils 4th consecutive postseason appearance.

Starting this Wednesday with Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Cincinnati Reds, the South Street spot will front an all-local draught beer lineup. Sit at the bar during the games and enjoy Philly brews for a special price: the number of wins needed to advance to the next series is the price of pints for the night.

How hot a deal is this? For the NLDS, we need 3 wins, which means the collection on tap goes for just $3 each. And it just keeps getting better. Say the Phillies go up 2-0 on the Reds? Pints are yours for just a buck. There’s never been a better reason to root for the home team (as if you needed one).

The tentative starting rotation includes Victory Prima Pils, Yards PPA, SlyFox Helles Lager, Flying Fish Oktoberfish and Dock Street Rye IPA. Supplement your sessions with nibbles: Chef Erin O’Shea’s delicious Deviled Eggs or Yards Root Beer Chili, killer sandwiches like the PST (pork belly, slaw and pickled green tomatoes), or the pungently rich smoked barbecue options like Brisket (ask for burnt ends!) or Pork Spare Ribs.

The deal will continue through Game 4 of the World Series (okay, they’ll extend it through Game 7, if necessary). New Philly beers will continue to make their appearance on the roster throughout, including an exclusive Yards smoked wheat beer made with malt smoked in the house smokers. Take me out to the ball game!

When: During any Phillies Playoff Game

Where: The Bar at Percy Street BBQ

What: Great deals on fantastic local beers!
