Goose Island's Annual Bourbon County Stout Release Will Take Place at Philadelphia's Bell Beverage, November 23

This year's release of Goose Island's popular Bourbon County Stout will take place on Black Friday, November 23, and in Philadelphia, Bell Beverage, located at 2809 South Front Street, will be the only spot where the beer will be available to purchase.

On Black Friday starting at 7:30 AM, the store will have seven different Bourbon County Stouts available, including 2017 Original Bourbon County Brand Stout, 2018 Original Bourbon County Brand Stout, 2018 Bourbon County Brand Coffee Barleywine, 2018 Bourbon County Brand Vanilla Stout, 2018 Bourbon County Brand Midnight Orange Stout, 2018 Bourbon County Brand Wheatwine and 2018 Bourbon County Bramble Rye Stout. Anybody who lines up early will be entered to win all of those bottles as well as a bottle of Goose Island Rare, which isn't available anywhere else in the city — raffle tickets will be handed out from 6 AM to 7 AM, and smaller gift baskets will be available as well, including items like more bottles of Rare, bottles of Goose Island sours, glasses, shirts, posters, and more.

For those who get up early enough to snag this cult-favorite beer, Bell will also have baked goods made especially for the beer purveyor and made, naturally, using Bourbon County Stout, including Nutella Scones with Goose Island Bourbon County Glaze, Brioche Doughnuts with Goose Island Bourbon County Cream Filling, Orange Danishes with Goose Island Bourbon County Glaze, and Caramelized Apple Shooters featuring the Goose Island label.

If you love Goose Island's seasonal stout, mark your calendars for Black Friday, where the best deal of the year may well be this rare beer.
