Philly's Best Happy Hours: Tuna Bar's $4 Sake, $7 Wine and Cocktails, & $4 Sushi Rolls

Welcome to Philly’s Best Happy Hours, a feature highlighting great happy hours in different neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia. Since Drink Philly started out as a place to find happy hours in the city, we thought it was only right to return to our roots and turn the spotlight on some of Philly’s absolute best happy hour deals.

This time, we headed over to Tuna Bar, Old City's premier upscale sushi spot complete with a gorgeous interior design, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an outstanding menu, from its signature cocktails to its wine list to its raw bar, sashimi, sushi rolls, dumplings, and more.

Tuna Bar's happy hour, which takes place Monday through Friday from 4:30 PM to 7 PM, offers amazing deals on everything from sake to beer to cocktails to sushi.

Check in with the bartender to see what the happy hour cocktail is, which rotates as the bar staff sees fit, but rest assured that if it's coming from the talented men and women behind the bar at Tuna Bar, it's sure to impress. and each day, it only costs $7.

They also offer beers on draft and by the bottle, including Kirin and Orion, which range from $4 to $5.

Wines by the glass are just $7, and include house red and house white.

A rare feature for happy hour, this menu also includes a sake – specifically, Junmai Hakushika Chokara "Extra Dry," for just $4 a pour.

If you're hungry, try some of the offerings from the raw bar, like fresh oysters ($2/piece) or shrimp ($2/piece).

For something more substantial, there's also options like the chicken and shrimp dumplings ($7), which arrive served in a delicate broth and garnished with fresh herbs.

Of course, you don't want to miss the sushi – you can snag spicy salmon, spicy tuna, or salmon avocado rolls for just $4 per roll, an absolutely incredible deal for these delicious rolls crafted to order.

Stop into Tuna Bar's sunlit space today for some sushi rolls, a craft cocktail, or a shot of sake, and enjoy one of the best-priced deals in the city.
