Welcome to Philly’s Best Happy Hours, a feature highlighting great happy hours in different neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia. Since Drink Philly started out as a place to find happy hours in the city, we thought it was only right to return to our roots and turn the spotlight on some of Philly’s absolute best happy hour deals.

Bluebird Distilling, the local Phoenixville distillery with its own bar at Old City's upscale food hall The Bourse, offers up amazing hand-crafted spirits from bourbon to vodka along with inventive cocktails, a bottle shop, and a happy hour, which runs Monday through Friday from 4 PM - 6 PM.

For just $9, you can score classic cocktails like Negronis, Old Fashioneds, or Manhattans made with your choice of Bluebird spirit, from their four-grain bourbon to their sugarcane rum.

They also feature seasonal cocktails and rotate between them weekly for happy hour, when they're $3 off. Try options like the Oso Blanco (Bluebird Distilling Juniperus Gin, Luxardo Bitter Bianco, Dolin Dry Vermouth, $12), A Collins Has No Name (Bluebird Distilling Vodka, St. Germain, fresh lemon juice, housemade cucumber syrup, mint and club soda, $11), or the Veracruz Vacation (Bluebird Distilling Dark Rum, Ancho Reyes Chili Liqueur, Kahlua, Wray & Nephew Rum, Scrappy’s Lime Bitters, $12).

They also still feature a cocktail section called "Bluebird OG's," so if you love their Phoenixville Old Fashioned (Phoenixville Whiskey, vanilla, bitters, orange peel, Luxardo cherry, $11) or the Bluebird (Bluebird Vodka, blueberries, mint, lime, and club soda, $11), you're in luck.

If you're looking for wine or beer, you can also enjoy $1 off wines and beers – for wine, they always have a red and a white, and for beer, they usually stock local selections from breweries like Tröegs. They don't serve food, but you're welcome to bring food from any Bourse vendor, and there's plenty of options to choose from.
