On July 14, 1789, the French stormed the Bastille and declared a revolution. From that day forward, it has given Americans a great reason to continue the blue, white, and red party – just 10 days after our own independence celebration – to show support for our allies across the Atlantic.

Nick Elmi's Old City brasserie is hosting a full weekend of Bastille Day activities. Stop by on Friday for a French themed happy hour from 5 PM - 7 PM, enjoy a burlesque show on Saturday at 8 PM, and brunch on Bastille Day from 12 PM - 4 PM with a decadent spread that includes strong drinks, rich food, and even plenty of wigs.

Queen Village's favorite French bistro has expanded since last year, encompassing Kater Street between 6th & 8th Streets and 7th Street between South & Bainbridge Street.
