Prost! Raise a Glass at PHLOktoberfest 2019 on Frankford Avenue, September 21
It might not be October just yet, but Fishtown's Frankford Hall and Fette Sau are getting the celebrations started early with PHLOktoberfest 2019 on Frankford Avenue, which will take place on Saturday, September 21 from 12 PM - 10 PM.
This beloved festival is returning once again for fun, food, and of course, lots of beer. Frankford Avenue will keep the kegs flowing throughout the day, offering up plenty of beers (German and otherwise) alongside live music by acts like The Polka Brothers, Mad Beatz Philly, G.T.V. Almrausch, and DJ Craig Dash, as well as plenty of snacks to pair with those beers.
If you're bringing the whole family, don't worry — over on Fishtown's Shackamaxon Avenue, there will be plenty of family friendly activities like a childrens' rock band, pony rides, the Laura & Joe Show, and activities by PlayArts.
Admission is free, so don't worry about grabbing any tickets in advance. It's never too soon to start celebrating the biggest international beer holiday of the year, so head to PHLOktoberfest this Saturday and raise a glass. Prost!
