The Team Behind Tinsel & Blume is Bringing a Halloween-Themed Pop-Up Bar to Center City
The minds between Instagrammable spots like Tinsel and Blume are bringing a Halloween-themed pop-up event to Center City this October, aptly named Nightmare Before Tinsel Halloween Pop-Up Bar.
Located at 116 S. 12th Street (the former home of Simpson's Jewelry in Midtown Village), this spooky spot will feature plenty of exhibits, props, art, and design to provide the perfect seasonal ambiance — make sure you snap a shot of their creepy decor, which includes a room of 1,001 eyes, a spider web, "ghosts of Halloween past and present," a haunted casket, a zombie wall, and more.
The bar top is made by local artist Scott Johntson and features plenty of scary Philadelphia history including Edgar Allan Poe and more. Of course, don't miss out on the eerie cocktails, made by some of your favorite bartenders from BRU, Tradesman's, Blume, and more. Just like Tinsel, the cocktails will be themed with a little souvenir to take home with you.
Costumes are optional but always encouraged, so if you want to spend October in a spooky mood, head to Nightmare Before Tinsel and get into the Halloween spirit.
