Enjoy 2019's Beaujolais Nouveau & Cru With Philly Wine Week Across Philadelphia, November 21-24
On the third Thursday of November every year, the world welcomes a new crop of Beaujolais Nouveau, and this year, Philly Wine Week is partnering with lots of great Philly restaurants to serve up Beaujolais Nouveau & Cry for an entire weekend from Thursday, November 21 to Sunday, November 24.
Alongside the new wine, which is released at 12:01 AM on Thursday, November 21, 17 restaurants and bars throughout the city will pour glasses of their favorite Beaujolais "cru," which is wine that comes from recognized vineyards spread across several winemaking regions in France. Meanwhile, the 2019 Beaujolais Nouveau will be available at each place for $9 per glass.
Throughout the weekend, you can make your way across the city and hit as many of the participating spots as you can, including Di Bruno Bros. and Alimentari, Jet Wine Bar, Barbuzzo, The Good King Tavern and Le Caveau, Panorama, Bloomsday Cafe, Friday Saturday Sunday, South Philly Taproom, Vintage Wine Bar, Fishtown Social, Lacroix, Bistro Romano, Kensington Quarters, Hungry Pigeon, Tria, ITV and Laurel, and Art Bar.
As an added bonus, everyone who attends will get the chance to win two tickets to Philly Wine Week's kickoff event, Opening Corks, which will take place on March 29, 2020. Simply tag @PhillyWineWeek and use the hashtag #phillydrinkswine in your post, and you'll automatically be entered to win.
Beaujolais Nouveau Day is exciting enough on its own, but this year, make it even more special thanks to Philly Wine Week & special cru bottles.
