Philadelphia Brewing Company's Fleur De Lehigh
Each spring, Kensington's own Philadelphia Brewing Company welcomes outdoor drinking conditions with their crisp seasonal, Fleur de Lehigh. Built around PBC's distinctive Belgian yeast strain, this golden ale boasts a list of ingredients that sounds like a cross between Thai curry and a witch's brew (chamomile, rose hips, ginger, lemongrass, and rhubarb). The ginger is the deliciously dominant force in the flavor, but it's utility is what really makes it a winner, equally appropriate as an after-dinner sipper or a picnic pounder. With a family-friendly alcohol content, and more drinkability than a pitcher of iced herbal tea, Fleur de Lehigh is one fresh flower that you'll want to stop and smell often.
