Stout & Chowder Festival on the Delaware

Stout & Chowder Festival on the Delaware

Think ahead to the chilly days of late autumn, and mark your calendars for November 19. On that Saturday, the soul-and-belly-warming combo of dark beers and hearty soups takes center stage at the second annual Stout and Chowder Festival at the Independence Seaport Museum. Tickets are $60 per person, and are available online here.

Three hours of merrymaking begins at 5 PM on the fourth floor of the maritime center, with views of the Delaware River and Penn’s Landing. Over twenty regional craft breweries – including Yards, Troegs, Weyerbacher and Boxcar – will pour stouts and other brew styles. An assortment of soups, stews and chowders will be provided by Brûlée Catering, and look for a special beer-paired dessert as well.

Your ticket brings all the food and drink you can handle, plus a special commemorative glass mug, and proceeds from the event will benefit the museum.

Get your tickets online before they go here.
