Broad Street beer joint
Perch Pub just announced a new set of twins. (No, not that kind – and definitely not
that kind.) Two specialty taps will be added to the current roster, expanding the total draft choices to 14 at any given time. While the dozen existing taps serve a variety of craft brews, the new spigots will pour ultra-limited seasonals, small-batch artisinals and local micro-brews.
Current and upcoming offerings on the uncommon tap tip include world-sourced
Dogfish Head Pangea,
Smuttynose Farmhouse Ale,
Stillwater Ales Stateside Saison (brewed with both U.S. and New Zealand hops) and
Brooklyn Brewery The Companion, inspired by
Garrett Oliver’s recently released
Oxford Companion to Beer.
An autumn food menu has also been introduced at the windowed second-floor drinkery, including shrimp ‘n’ grits and a vino burger that comes doused with Chardonnay pesto, Syrah onions and drunken goat cheese. Head over to try out this beast, paired with one of the unique drafts, and don’t forget about the great happy hour, too (Monday–Friday, 5–7 PM, Saturday, 4–6 PM, Sunday 8–10 PM).
