Today is Veterans Day, and East Passyunk sports bar South Philly Bar & Grill is partnering with America 4R Marines to hold several fundraising events throughout the weekend. From 7–8 PM, Friday–Sunday, drafts and bottles of Yuengling are $2 each. Jagermeister shots are $5 each all day long, along with $2 spicy chili hotdogs.

And there’s more. Friday night is a party with DJ Eric Bartella from 9 PM–2 AM. Saturday brings a $10 pancake and beer breakfast (11 AM–2 PM), and then a military ball in the evening, beginning at 9 PM. On Sunday morning, it’s the Military Mom’s brunch, also $10, from 11 AM–1 PM. All events have a voluntary $2 door charge, 100% of which will be donated directly to America 4R Marines.

The non-profit focuses on Marine units serving in the most remote and hostile areas of operation, so whether you have family that fought in past wars, friends currently serving, or just want to support the brave members of our armed forces, head over to South Philly Bar & Grill and raise a glass in their honor.
