Last month, as temperatures began to dip into chilly territory, Rolling Barrel Events teamed up with the Independence Seaport Museum to hold the second annual Stout & Chowder Festival. Over 21 different beers and a handful of soups and chowders pleased the palates and warmed the souls of a happy crowd, who also got a chance to sample a just-released Oatmeal Milk Stout from River Horse Brewing.

In solidarity with charity fundraising movement Movember, this event featured a "Burly Beer Competition," with the winner becoming the mascot of next year’s festival. A dessert station onsite paired sweets with the dark beers on offer, and an after party was held at Triumph Brewing Co. in Old City. Check it all out in the video above.
