New Kickstarter for Lew Bryson's American Beer Blogger TV Show
Start your pledge-making engines back up! Lew Bryson has revamped the Kickstarter campaign for the American Beer Blogger TV show, which we wrote about in depth last week. Instead of trying to get $60,000 to produce and market half-a-dozen episodes of the craft beer reality show, the new goal is just one-tenth that amount. The seed money will help create the pilot, which can then be shopped around to different networks.
Why should you donate to get this project off the ground? “The number one reason to give money would be if you’re my mom,” Bryson quipped, “But number two would be that you’re interested in breweries, great beer and looking behind the scenes at the craft beer industry and the people that make it tick.”
The original Kickstarter did garner pledges over $6,000, but when the larger goal wasn’t reached in time, all donations were erased and the project had to begin again at zero. Second chance campaigns are only given two weeks to raise their funds, so don’t sleep on heading over to pitch in – even the price of a pint will help make the show a reality.
