Yelp's Backstage Pass Party at Union Transfer, Feb 9

Free party? Free party! The review-happy folks at Yelp are throwing a big bash at Spring Garden music venue Union Transfer on Thursday, February 9, and there is no fee to get in. Instead, toss a $10 donation toward the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation at the door, because once you’re inside, all food and drink is totally complimentary, thanks to the impressive list of sponsors Yelp has lined up.
The Backstage Pass Party will go from 8–10 PM, and the only requirement for entry is an RSVP on the Yelp event page with a real name (yes, this means you’ll have to sign up for an account if you’re not a Yelper already). DJ QiCommand will be spinning tunes to set the mood for the happening, and there will be other fun things to do around the room, like photo booths or mini salon services (all gratis).
But on to the important part. To drink, look for offerings from Triumph Brewing Co., Sam Adams, Naragansett Beer, Twisted Tea, Magners Irish Cider and (for your designated driver) Bai Antioxidents. To sate your hunger, check out bites from a wide variety of establishments such as Cantina Dos Segundos, Khyber Pass Pub, Krispy Kreme Philadelphia, The Trestle Inn, World Cafe Live and many more.
There will be no day-of entry, so head over to Yelp and sign up to enjoy the night full of freebies.
