Beer Ice Cream Now Sold At Victory
It's been hot as anything, but Victory Brewing Company has the best kind of solution: beer ice cream.
The Brewery has recently started selling their beer ice cream (previously available only in their restaurant). It's made by using beer wort, the unfermented and unhopped liquid that is later transformed into the beers we know and love, such as Golden Monkey and Hop Devil. Right now, there are three flavors available at their restaurant in Downington available to go:
Triple Monkey - Banana Ice Cream made with wort from Golden Monkey swirled with peanuts and caramel
Hopped Up Devil - Cayenne and cinnamon ice cream made from HopDevil wort, studded with chocolate-covered coffee beans
Storm King Crunch - Chocolate ice cream made from wort from Storm King Stout with malted milk balls.
Right now, you can buy all the ice creams in pint and quart-sized containers in Downingtown for $4.24 plus tax and $7.99 plus tax respectively. It's not like we really needed an excuse to go visit their brewery and eat everything we see, but this is still a more than welcome addition!
