The weather is perfect almost year-round in San Diego, CA, and the ocean-loving partners at microbrewery Ballast Point manage to channel that cheeriness into their many craft beers. Put some life into a winter February this Wednesday by coming out to Cavanaugh’s Brew and Chew, where four award-winning sip will be paired with good eats for just $20 (plus RSVP).

The two-hour event goes from 7–9 PM at the Rittenhouse pub room, during which time you’ll get to nosh on four different hors d’oeuvres and drink the evening away. Expect to enjoy pours of Big Eye IPA and Yellowtail Pale Ale, as well as bottles of Calico Amber Ale and Victory at Sea, a 10% ABV imperial porter.

Just remember: you have to RSVP to gain entrance, and try to arrive early – only the first 90 people will be allowed through the door.
