Bonus Drink of the Week: Celtic Knockout at Sullivan's Steakhouse
Everything’s coming up Irish in drinks land this week, and while we already highlighted the Irish Coffee at Fado, we just got word of special St. Paddy’s Day cocktail with a very cool photo in tow, so we thought we’d share.
Sullivan’s Steakhouse is a high-end chain from the same company that runs Del Frisco’s, with locations in 20 cities across the country; the one closest to us is out in King of Prussia.
All of the beef served at Sullivan’s is aged at least 28 days, and it looks like they have the same kind of patience with their cocktails. The Celtic Knockout, which will be served on March 17 for $6 a pop, uses Svedka Clementine vodka that has been infused with pineapple for two weeks. Check out the recipe below, or head to King of Prussia (or the Wilmington, DE outpost) to taste the green concoction.
Celtic Knockout
2 oz. pineapple-infused Svedka Clementine
1 oz. Midori
In a cocktail shaker, pour the vodka and Midori. Add ice. Shake well. Strain and pour into a frosted martini glass.Finish by arranging a twist of orange peel on the rim of the glass.
