As you probably know, we’re happy hour experts here at Drink Philly, and can say with certainty that the new deal at South Broad’s Tashan is one of the best we’ve ever run into. Every weekday from 5–7 PM, all drinks and everything on the lounge food menu is half price. Yes, we said ALL drinks. Not just a few boring drafts, not just two house wines, not just one specialty cocktail dolled up for the occasion. Everything.

This is pretty epic, especially considering the high-end Euro-Indian restaurant has a great bar program. We’ve had the chance to sample the Junoon, with Bluecoat gin and blackberries, and the signature Tashan (Penn 1681 vodka, blueberries, lemongrass, green cardamom), and both were stellar. The beer selection, though small, has several good finds, including Ommegang Hennepin, Cigar City Jai Alai IPA and Uncommon Brewers Siamese Twin Ale.
