Bierstube Brings Back Lobsterfest Every Sunday
If you’re starting to get tired of hams, fruitcakes, sugar plums and turkey, Bierstube has the decadent answer to your cold-weather-food ennui. Lobsterfest is back, featuring a 1¼-lb. fresh Maine lobster on a platter with fixings for just $15 each Sunday.
Pair the sweet, butter-dipped seafood with German brew, a specialty of the house at the Market Street pub in Old City. There are plenty of options in that regard, poured from one of 18 taps or chosen from nearly 200 bottles, and German Four Play happy hour is in effect even on Sundays. That deal runs from 4:44–6:44 every day, and features 14-oz. pours of four different beers for $4 each. There’s also the new winter cocktail menu to enhance your lobster-eating experience.
So when the cold gets you down, warm up with an inexpensive lobster feast and a few good drinks. Before too many Sundays go back, it will be spring again.
