Drink Portland to Launch in May

My Fellow Drinkers,

I am very excited to announce our expansion to Portland, OR. In September of 2011, we announced the national expansion plan for The Drink Nation, and moved forward with Drink Baltimore and Drink DC. Now we're taking a giant leap across the U.S. and launching our first West Coast site, DrinkPortland.com.

This is a big milestone for us, as Portland is nearly 3,000 miles away from our headquarters in Philadelphia. We have carefully selected a local editor, Brooke Preston, to help ensure the site is able to become fully immersed in the impressive drinking culture of PDX. The city supports over 50 breweries, is surrounded by wine country, and even has a growing craft spirits culture — there's a strip downtown known as "Distillery Row."

We've released a special VIP preview of the site — simply sign up with your email address on our splash page to receive the link that gets you in. We're getting a lot of great feedback already, and it seems to be really taking off.

I can't tell you how excited we all are here at The Drink Nation for this launch. To see this crazy idea of mine grow from a spreadsheet to multi-city lifestyle brand has been a thrill for me. I am lucky to have such a dedicated and talented team and I am thankful for the support of all our friends, familes, and fans.
