Where to Find Ommegang's Latest Game of Thrones Beer Around Philadelphia for Your Season Six Premiere Party

by Drink Philly on Apr 7, 2016 in Beer

Ok Game of Thrones fans, we know you’re out there because you sold out the second date of the Ommegang Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale release in mere minutes! If you didn’t happen to get tickets to the event, you can still grab a bottle or two of the beer before the show returns to HBO for its sixth season.

The Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale, the latest Game of Thrones-inspired beer from Brewery Ommegang, is described as “a marriage of a traditional Belgian-style wheat and a hop-forward American ale”. Let’s just hope this marriage doesn’t end in bloodshed and misery. The beer is 6.9% ABV and pours a hazy pale yellow with a thick, pure white head.

Season six of Game of Thrones premieres on Sunday, April 24, at 9 PM. Check out the trailer for the new season and a list of where you pick up your bottle of Seven Kingdoms Hoppy Wheat Ale below.
