MilkBoy On South Street Is Now Open
MilkBoy South, which is the first offshoot to date of the original, will look much like the first location, with two stories featuring large garage-style windows, a bar on each floor, and great street views from either area. The first floor will have outdoor seating and a separate takeout entrance, while the upper floor will play host to live music and custom tables that can create more standing room for concerts.
The spot has snagged Chris Beyer, formerly of Garces, as its executive chef, which suits MilkBoy perfectly — Beyer is an accomplished musician in addition to his culinary career. There’s not much word on the food menu yet, but the cocktail program has been described as “advanced,” and the bar will also offer an excellent beer selection split between cans and 6 drafts (with 1 nitro) that will all hail from Pennsylvania.
The brand new MilkBoy will be open daily from 11 AM - 2 AM and is located directly at 401 South Street, so be sure to head by and check it out once it’s open.
