Drink Around The World

If you’re planning on drinking around the world (getting a drink at each World Showcase stop in Epcot), be sure to start in Canada and, as you move on to England, remember the adage of “beer before liquor.” Also try to get something local to each country—while they all offer a “[insert country name] margarita,” that’s a cop-out. Get wine in France, sake in Japan and tequila in Mexico. And, unfortunately, plum wine in China even though it’s gross. Finally, there are plenty of places online where you can print out your own lists or “passports” to keep track of each country in which you’ve had a drink. Do it. Make it fun. And if you do, be sure to find the table in each country that will stamp said passport and write a little note in the native language for you, even if you’re clearly an adult having way too much fun getting a stamp of Mickey Mouse in a French beret.
