Ommegang Game of Thrones Beer Lands in Philly, Bottles and Drafts Now Available
Last week we reviewed Iron Throne Blonde Ale, the first in Brewery Ommegang’s series of beers themed after HBO’s Game of Thrones. Now we’re finally able to let you know where you can get it.
The Corner Foodery, Rittenhouse’s newest (and awesomest) bottle shop, is carrying the beer in 750-ml, corked-and-caged bottles for $15.95 each.
On tap, Iron Throne is currently pouring (as of Monday, March 25) at Good Dog Bar in Center City, where’s it’s being offered for $8 per 10-oz. pour.
Starting with the Game of Thrones season premiere, Fairmount’s London Grill will have Iron Throne on tap each Monday night (day after the show is broadcast), pouring while showing the just-aired episode at 8 PM.
On April 3 at 7 PM, Old Eagle Tavern in Manayunk will be dedicating its monthly "Beer and a Movie Night" to the Game of Thrones premiere, along with Iron Throne on tap and a food menu full of medieval fantasy fare (think dragon deviled eggs and roasted turkey legs).
Stay tuned for more GoT beer sightings as we find them.
