The first ever Stone Spotlight Series winner has been announced, and Spröcketbier reigned supreme. The Stone Spotlight Series was a year-long brewing competition between Stone brewery staff. The series was “a light-hearted yet extremely serious battle to see whose beer dream reigned supreme”. Spröcketbier, a black rye kölsch, beat out 19 other entries in a blind taste test.

Head over to Perch Pub at Broad and Locust on Friday, April 25, for a taste of the winning brew. The brewers of Spröcketbier from Stone Brewing Co. will also be hanging out to talk shop. Also on tap that evening will be Matt’s Burning Rosids, Old Guardian Barleywine, Imperial Russian Stout, and Levitation. If all these great beers weren’t enough to get you out, how about a sweet pint glass? You can snag a Stone Brewing gargoyle pint glass just for coming out! So swing by between 8 and 10 PM for some limited release beers, a pint glass, and a meet and greet with some folks from Stone!
