Cavanaugh's Headhouse Hosts 2nd Annual Irish Festival, March 15
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade isn’t the only Irish shindig this year thanks to Cavanaugh’s Headhouse, who will be hosting the 2nd Annual Headhouse Irish Festival. On Sunday, March 15, 2nd Street and the Headhouse Shambles will be transformed into an Irish oasis full of music, food, drinks, and more.
The festival starts at 2 PM with live Irish music. Performers include Irish Step Dancers from the McHugh School of Irish Dance and the 2nd St. Irish Society Pipe and Drum Core.
And what would an Irish festival be without beer and whiskey? You’ll be able to grab pints of Guinness, Irish Car Bombs, and the Jameson will be flowing. You will also be able to enjoy classic Irish dishes such as Shepard’s Pie, Bangers and Mash, and Fish and Chips.
2nd Street will be closed between Locust and Pine, leaving plenty of room for dancing and partying. Get there early for the giveaways while supplies last. This is also an all ages event, so bring the whole family! Cheers, and may your glass never be empty.
