Give Major League Bocce a Shot This Summer and Save $20

If you’re not a Major League Bocce player by now, we have only one question for you. Why not? Do you not like having a blast while enjoying Dogfish Head beer specials with your friends?

Ok, that might have been more than one question, but you catch our drift. In case you’re still missing out, here’s a deal you can’t pass up: Sign up for the summer season of Major League Bocce and take $20 off the registration fee!

Major League Bocce offers weekly games played between multi-person, co-ed teams. The game isn’t difficult; just about anyone who can palm a ball can have fun playing. Plus, unlike most other sports, you stand on the same side of the court as your opponents, so socializing is the norm — what better way to distract someone than by cracking a ball joke or two?

The summer season runs from July 22 through September 10, and games are hosted at a variety of locations throughout the city. You can even choose to play in the heart of the city in Dilworth Park.

Games are held either on Wednesday or Thursday evenings, depending upon the location. Center City games are held Wednesdays at 6:30 and 7:30 PM. Did we mention there’s also free meter parking on Wednesdays?

Other locations include Northern Liberties at The Druid’s Keep and South Philly at Jefferson Square Park, both on Thursdays.

If this sounds like the game for you, head over to Major League Bocce’s website to register your team or sign up as a free agent and be matched with a team. Enter discount code 20BEERS when you register, and you’ll automatically save $20 on the season. With registration, each player enjoys an 8-week season, a team t-shirt, Dogfish Head drink specials, weekly prizes, and a free party at the end of the season.

We’ll see you on the courts!
