Fall seems to find every neighborhood bustling with festivals, farmer’s markets, art exhibits, and beer gardens all trying to squeeze in one last celebration before the winter chill sets in. This weekend is no different, with plenty of things to do and see around Philly. One neighborhood we’ve got our sights on for weekend festivities is Old City.
The city’s most historic neighborhood will shut down Arch Street between 2nd and 4th and 3rd Street between Race and Market to vehicles and bring in over 100 food and retail vendors for
Old City Fest. Festival goers can enjoy food, art, crafts, music, performances, and much more.
Attendees will be able to pop into all the great galleries and shops of Old City while enjoying music and live performances on the street stages. In addition to all the arts and crafts vendors, plenty of food and beverages will be on hand as well. Grab a snack from
High Street on Market, a glass of wine from
Panorama, a brew from
Bierstube, and a sweet treat from
Franklin Fountain. If none of those options really float your boat, never fear. Old City has delicious delicacies around every corner.
If you love local design or just want to get outside and enjoy a beautiful fall afternoon, head to Old City between 12–6 PM on Sunday, October 11.
