Head to Philly's very own Christmas Village at its new home at City Hall this season for “Ho Ho Happy Hours” starting Wednesday, December 7.

The happy hours will take place on three Wednesdays from now until December 21 and run from 5-7 PM and will specifically cover Chaddsford Winery’s festive mulled wines and the German Grill’s authentic cuisine, and both the Holiday Spirit (sweet mulled red wine with spices) and Spiced Apple (sweet pressed apple wine with spices) will cost $6, alongside $6 Proprieter's Red & White wines. Additionally, the happy hours will be themed each week, including:

-December 7: “Irish Christmas,” featuring Irish bands and appetizers.
-December 14: “Philly Christmas,” featuring a local band and special tastings.
-December 21: “German Christmas,” featuring music and dancers accompanied by a Bratwurst Eating Contest.

Here's an insider tip: the Winter Village only allows you to drink inside the tent, but Chaddsford Winery is the only spot in Christmas Village that allows you to walk around with your drink anywhere in City Hall.

For the December 7 Irish-themed happy hour, Tir Na Nog will be teaming up with Christmas Village to host a happy hour "after party" at their restaurant from 7 PM - 9 PM. They'll also hand out samples of their potato leek soup to the village's first guests, so get there early! 

Chaddsford Winery will also be holding wine tastings on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the run of the Christmas Village. Guests can purchase tickets on Groupon for the tasting tour of the village.

Samples include Chaddsford's red Holiday Spirit and Spiced Apple mulled wines, a Pretzelphoria tasting bag, and samples from The Bacon Jams, Shane Confectionary, Brunkow Cheese and more!

There are two Chaddsford booths at the Christmas Village, both participating in the happy hours and offering wines by the bottle and mug for sale.
