Celebrate National Pig Day in a Delicious Way

March 1st is National Pig Day. We're not making this up.
Not only is it National Pig Day, but some folks are taking their love of the pig to a level we can all enjoy - with cheap suckling pig sliders and beer.
Philadelphia Bar & Restaurant will be serving free Roasted Suckling Pig Slammers from noon to 1pm, after which they're $3 each. Avery Brewing Company's Hog Heaven Barleywine will be served all day, also at $3 a pour. If you want a little some heavier for your meal, the chef will be preparing hog shanks in the barleywine with cracklins and lentils for $10.
