Thursday, September 29

Birdies, Beers and Booze

What: Dinner & Beer/Cocktail pairing with Dock St. and Philly Distilling
Where: MidAtlantic Restaurant & Taproom, 37th & Market (University City)   
When: 6–9 PM, Thursday, September 29
Price: $35 for dinner & $25 for beer + cocktails

Dock Street Brewery and Philadelphia Distilling have joined together to host a Beer and Cocktail tasting at MidAtlantic Restaurant and Taproom.


Friday, September 30

Spaten Oktoberfest Night

What: Oktoberfest celebration featuring Spaten beer
Where: The Grey Lodge Pub, Frankford & Hawthorne (NE Philly)
When: 6–9 PM, Friday, September 30
Price: Pay as you go

Spaten’s Oktoberfest will be on tap along with traditional German food, with music from the brewery’s own Tom Neuhauser.


Saturday, October 1

3rd Annual Charlie Brown Great Pumpkin Beer Festival

What: Pumpkin style beer festival
Where: The Institute, 12th & Green (Art Museum/Fairmount)  
When: 10 AM–2 AM, Friday, October 1


The event starts at 10 AM with brunch and will continue to host a variety of pumpkin themed foods throughout the day. Pumpkin styled beers will be available from upwards of twenty different breweries; with prizes for the first patrons to arrive, music, fall themed decorations and, of course, Charlie Brown playing on the second floor.

Midtown Village Fall Festival & McGillin’s Beer Garden

What: Fall themed block party
Where: Midtown Village, 13th St. from Locust to Chestnut, Sansom St. from 12th to Juniper and the 1300 Block of Drury St.
When: 12–8PM, Saturday, October 1
Price: Pay as you go

This all day block party will feature beer gardens, food, crafts, games, karaoke and much more.

Pigtoberfest

What: Pig roast and beer festival
Where: The Ugly Moose, West Walnut & Shurs Lane (Manayunk)
When: 1–6 PM, Saturday, October 1
Price: $5 cover, pay as you go

The $5 cover gets you access to the event and beer garden, music, and your first drink free. There will be multiple Oktoberfest beers as well as roasted pork and brats. RSVP to get a free beer or a brat/pork sandwich.

Sunday, October 2

Grand Harvest Wine & Music Festival

What: Wine & music festival  
Where: Alba Vineyard & Winery, 269 Route 627, Milford NJ
When: 12–5 PM, Sunday, October 2
Price: $25 advanced, $30 day of

Admission gets you access to multiple award winning wines, live music, and other activities. Visit their website for ticket reservations , more information on the event and directions from Philadelphia.
