The Wilma Theater is host to a variety of performance events, from Shakespeare to avant garde dramas and comedies to Ballet X dance to more. Two upcoming events have an extra appeal: drinks will be served! Friday, November 4 (tonight) is Young Friends Night, and patrons can purchase a half-off ticket to Our Class. The all-inclusive entrance fee (which runs $23 or so) includes a pre-show reception with complimentary beer from Philadelphia Brewing Co., wine and food from Marathon. Eats and drinks start at 7 PM, and the curtain goes up at 8 PM.

Next week, on Friday, November 11 will be Tria Night. The popular wine-cheese-beer bar is bringing some seasonal best, arranged in artful pairings. Any ticket holder is welcome to attend the 7 PM reception before heading into the theater for the evening’s show.
