BBQ Beer Picnic
What: Barbeque picnic with beer
Where: Chifa, 707 Chestnut St.
When: Thursday, July 28th at 7pm
Price: $65
$65 will get you nine plates of food, with dessert paired with five craft beers. Beers featured are Dale’s Pale Ale, Yella Pils, Old Chub, G’Knight and Ten Fidy.

University Dining Days
This Thursday is the final day of University Dining Days. Similar to Restaurant Week, some of West Philadelphia’s best restaurants offer three differently priced three-course meals, providing a chance for nearly any budget to enjoy their wonderful fair.
The three prices are $15, $25 and $30 and cover a huge portion of West Philly ranging from Biba at 31st and Walnut to Dock Street up on 50th and Baltimore. Other restaurants involved in the two0week deal include Rx, Vietnam, New Delhi, Marigold, White Dog Café and Distrito.

Philly’s Fan Fridays
What: Phillies themed party and giveaways

Attend for chances to win tickets as well as a VIP open bar at McFadden’s Ballpark, as well as other Phillies memorabilia. There will also be Southern Comfort shot and drink specials. Phillies game starts at 7:05.
Bell’s Beverage Flying Fish Sampling

Saturday, July 30th
Kick the Cure for Cancer
What: 2 hour open bar cancer fundraiser
Where: O’Neals Pub, South & 3rd (Queen Village)
When: July 30th, 8-10pm
Price: $10 at the door
$10 at the door gets you draft beer and appetizers from 8-10pm. Upstairs bar opens at 6:30 and all proceeds go to team reigstration for Kick for Cancer, a kickball tournament aimed at raising money for cancer research.
Sunday, July 31st
Second Street Festival
From 12-10pm this Sunday, North 2nd between Germantown and Fairmount, in Northern Liberties, will be shut down for the Third Annual 2nd Street Festival, which last year had more than 8,000 attendees.
There are three stages setup for music brought to you by the Philadelphia Folksong Society. As well as beer from Yards, Stoudts, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Miller Lite. Seven beer gardens at; Bar Ferdinand, North Bowl, Standard Tap, Cantina Dos Segundos, Gunner’s Run, The Foodery and El Camino Real. There will also be food, workshops, art, vendors, and more.
