Groundhog Day Hawaiian Shirt Beer Breakfast

What: A morning Punxsutawney Phil watching party with great craft drafts
Where: Grey Lodge Pub (6235 Frankford Ave.)
When: 7 AM–1 PM, Thursday, February 2
Price: PAYG

The publicans at Grey Lodge stockpile special kegs of local brew, tapped at 7 AM to toast the groundhog as he emerges at 7:20 AM. After that, there’s games, contest and more beer, until 1 PM, appropriately dubbed “nap time.” Take note: the craziness of the day means it’s a cash-only event.

Drink Philly First Friday with Rex 1516

What: First Friday art show
Where: Drink Philly Headquarters (239 Chestnut St.)

Price: FREE

Check out cool artwork from members of NextFab Studio, listen to live jazz and sample eats from the about-to-open Rex 1516, who will be bringing "triple threat" mac 'n' cheese paired with samples of winter sangria and Crane Lake Viognier.
