First Friday at Arden Theatre Co., March 1

Now that Drink Philly First Friday art shows and tasting only take place quarterly, we’re excited to be able to work with some of our neighbors in Old City on their events. On Friday, March 1, check out the Arden Theatre Co., where you can watch performances while sipping on Yards beer and enjoying light snacks.

Applied Mechanics is the name of the group putting on a show this month, and the ensemble company will be doing something they call “collaborative theater.” Many scenes will be happening simultaneously around the space, and as you wander around and through, you can pick up pieces of one and float to the next. The actors will even be incorporating food and drink into the shows.

Things get started at 6 PM and will run through 8 PM, and there’s no charge to enter. So come over to Second Street just north of Market for some drink, food and art.
